Crawley Community Youth Service is a local charity that works with young people providing safe open access spaces where they can take part in activities.
We are a team of mostly volunteers encouraging young people to try new things, learn from what they do and make a difference where and when they can.
As a Club Leader you could be part of a team organising, running and participating in positive activities creating attractive and open spaces for young people. Cooking, arts and crafts, sports, music or even just chilling out chatting with members are just some of the options on offer.
It can be hard for young people to find someone they feel safe and comfortable talking to. You could be a volunteer who supports them by listening, setting a good example and being that independent adult they can talk to. You can encourage them to learn from their mistakes and to think about actions and their consequences.
At Crawley Community Youth Service we believe that together we can create a positive environment open to all where we encourage and motivate young people to make a real difference in their lives.

All of our adult volunteers will need to undergo a check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS formerly CRB) and will receive training about safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. References and interviews will be required.
